Reviews A review of financial statements requires REAGAN Accounting & Consulting Group to perform inquiry and analytical procedures that provide us with a reasonable basis for expressing limited assurance that are no material modifications should be made to the financial statements in order for them to conform to generally accepted accounting principles or, another acceptable comprehensive basis of accounting. A review is much less in scope than an audit and does not require us to express an opinion on the fairness of the presentation of the financial statements. The procedures required for a review of financial statements are primarily analytical and fall somewhere between the two extremes of compilation procedures and audit procedures. Regardless of the level of assurance provided, presentation and disclosure in the financial statements must conform to generally accepted accounting principles or another acceptable comprehensive basis of accounting. |
